Skate Ministry

DEFINITION:

The purpose of the Skate Ministry is to help young people develop attitudes and behavior patterns that allow them to function more constructively in society. The Skate Ministry program emphasizes the following: 1) Teaching basic life skills. 2) Providing an opportunity for a relationship with a caring adult role model. 3) Promoting and developing positive self-image through Jesus Christ. 4) Creating opportunities for positive peer group experiences. 5) Sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
